Namaste yogis

It seems like every time I step outdoors at the moment I’m greeting with something different – gale force winds, torrential downpours, biting cold, glorious sunshine. It  reminds me  that the only thing that's guaranteed in life is it's as changeable as the weather! If we allow ourselves to be blown around by the winds of the world then we are like a tree without roots, lacking stability, resilience and unable to tap into the wellspring of energy that keeps us nourished.

However, it's not change itself that brings the challenges, but our response to it. So often we try to live as though life is fixed and our attachment to that outcome prevents us from being present to the process of life as it unfolds, moment by moment.

Yoga teaches us how to extend beyond our self-imposed limitations so we can loosen the ties that bind us, both physically and mentally.  Learning to practice in this way encourages greater acceptance, allowing you to forgive your imperfections and live more mindfully. Like ripples in a pond, or new shoots pushing through the earth, the benefits will be felt not only by you, but also those around you.

Browse the site to find details on classes, workshops, retreats and an invitation to join me on holiday in Turkey or Goa.

So whether you're a beginner, looking to return to your practice or continuing on your path, I hope that the uncertainties of the season bring  you the inspiration you need!
