YOGA IN ACTION - why stretch when you can reach?

Yoga in Action is part of the Off the Mat, Into the World initiative, founded by Seane Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling. This heartfelt, practical programme is a grassroots movement, building community around yoga and service, developing relationships with other yogis and activists in your local area and collaborating on creating real change.

The 7 week course allows you to embark on a transformational process; a journey of self-inquiry with the support of a small group of peers, that inspires conscious and sustainable activism and engages you with your community to make positive change in your world. The programme brings together physical yoga practice, meditation, experiential exercises, visualization, process work and ritual, combined with the functional tools of communication, organizing and collaborating. Participants will acquire the skills to show up in the world more embodied, empowered and motivated so that their visions for change can become a reality.

10% of total workshop cost goes back to Off the Mat to support the Yoga in Action initiative.

This course will run again at Triyoga in September 2012
